I had zero hand in this map art's creation, but it was amazing. A few people have accused me of spawning it in or doing something nefarious with the materials. I had no hand in building it and didn't even know it existed until it was completed. The map art is/was the largest map art ever constructed in minecraft. I went back and looked at logs as far back as June.Īs many of you are aware I was logged out at OldChum's map art at the time of this attack. I have confirmed that the backdoor was not accessed prior to the time stated above.

While a command block was given, the server has protection code built in to turn command blocks into clownfish instantly so the individual never managed to use it. I have prepared a listing of all the commands that were run during this timeframe:
The breach was quickly caught and ended at approximately 10:44 AM EST. I suspect it had something to do with the login method. I do not currently know why the usual code to deop/decreative and teleport me did not work. I was running a test build at the time of this exploit which had the op command enabled.
The server normally has the op command removed and generally there's a plugin to deop me, decreative me and teleport me back to spawn before login. The exploit was achieved by going around the server's firewall using a VPN and exploiting the bungee cord setup. These answers are to the best of my knowledge and may not be entirely accurate as I'm not omniscient.Īt approximately 10:24 AM EST the server was "backdoored". So hopefully this answers everyone's questions.
